Why do you need all this personal information?

The census collects detailed economic, cultural and social information on everyone living in Bermuda. This information is used by the Government, businesses and others to make many important decisions affecting our daily life, such as where we need homes for senior citizens, fire, police and emergency services and new types of social services. All information collected is protected under the Statistics Act 2002 and the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) 2016.
