What security measures have you taken for your website?

The e-Census website has several layers of security to help ensure that your responses remain confidential:

1. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) – creates an encrypted connection between the e-Census server and the server used by Census respondents
2. System Timeout – 20 minutes
3. For initial access the website a user needs the information on printed letter mailed to them and an email address.
4. Access to the website for continuing users requires the use of assigned login credentials.
